We would never...

We would never laugh at Emilia during dinner when she stuck a piece of green pasta in her nose.  And we would never ask her to do it again so we could take a picture.

Beau's ER visit

Once upon a time, I was sitting at gymnastics talking to my sister when I get a text from Chris- Call me. Beau hit head and bleeding.  Beau slipped in the bathtub.  Beau was standing up and as Chris was telling him to sit down, he slipped.  So Chris thinks the worst and that Beau's damaged his eye since he's screaming and bleeding.  So I leave E at gymnastics, meet Chris at the ER. Get right in, the doctor doesn't think he needs stitches and he's fine so off we went.  I was back at gymnastics before E's class was even over.  So Beau looked a little beat up with a black eye and cut but he's not even supposed to have a scar. His nose looks worse from a scratch that got a big scab that kept ripping off from his runny nose.  At least he's a boy!

Chalkboard pantry

Have you jumped on the pinterest bandwagon yet?  It's a virtual bulletin board where you can organize all those good ideas, recipes, and just stuff that you find on the web and I used to email home.

So this little project all started with this picture:

So when we were at Michael's, I bought some chalkboard paint

Before:
After 1 coat of paint:
After 3 coats. Emilia loves having another place to draw.  She says that she will draw a new one everyday for us.

Parade of Cultures 2011

Beau's class represented Mexico in the Parade of Cultures at the end of September.  We didn't have a red, white or green shirt so he ended up wearing a dark red one which ended up looking maroon in the pictures.  At least Mommy is an Aggie so it was all good.

More Soccer pictures

But since Emilia only plays for half the quarter, you can find her doing this...

And Beau doing this...

Fall Soccer

Emilia is playing RUSH soccer this year after playing at the YMCA for 4 seasons.  RUSH is 3 on 3 soccer and is still co-ed for the U6 (Under 6); she's the only girl on her team of 6.  She misses being able to play goalie but she's found her groove.  She's scored 4 goals so far and 1 assist from her corner kick.  So here's some soccer overload to catch up.
